Now Hiring: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Broker partners. This role manages the outbound campaigns by qualifying active buying interest and identifying critical decision makers to successfully position the Tzedakah House value proposition. SDRs who establish high performance and are strong representations of the Tzedakah House core values will have potential for new challenges and career advancement within sales.
Your Daily Adventures Will Include
Making 50 outbound phone calls each day
Create outbound prospecting with your named accounts and individuals
Leveraging various sales tools to network with potential customers
Achieving and exceeding weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, etc.)
Gain business knowledge through researching how different businesses operate, leadership structures, and what their pain points are and challenges they face every day
This is an individual contributor role that reports to the VP who values in-the-moment coaching, weekly one-on-ones, as well as autonomy to allow you to own your success
Pipeline organization and collaboration with Brokers for qualified meetings
Base salary + bonuses based on metrics = uncapped earning potential
Basic Qualifications
Can think on your feet in a conversation and answer unexpected questions with ease
Demonstrate empathy for struggles and challenges amongst clients and prospects
Intellectually curious
Resilient in the face of objections and rejection
Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced, always-changing environment
Have a passion for sales and sales processes
You are good at finding ways to motivate yourself
Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
You feel confident using programs like LinkedIn and Salesforce. If you haven’t used them, that’s ok. You have had to learn new programs before and have a knack for picking them up quickly

About The Team
We’re a 15-person team of dedicated, hard-working individuals who truly care about our clients. We spend the time to explain the benefits to every employee and answer questions throughout the year. We currently work with around 200 employers across Connecticut that range from 2 employees to more than 200. We also work with several hundred Medicare beneficiaries. We’re located right off Exit 59 on the Merritt Parkway in Woodbridge.
