We’re excited to share that Ben Klein, President of Tzedakah House, has been selected to serve on two influential industry councils in 2026:
CBIA Health Policy Council
UnitedHealthcare CT Consultant Advisory Board
These appointments reflect both Ben’s experience in the field and Tzedakah House’s growing role in shaping conversations around employee benefits, affordability, and access.
What These Councils Do
Both councils bring together a small group of brokers and industry leaders to:
Provide real-world feedback from employers and employees
Influence benefit design, policy direction, and administrative improvements
Discuss emerging challenges facing small and mid-sized organizations
Participation isn’t about prestige—it’s about making sure the voices of employers, nonprofits, and working families are represented where decisions are made.
A History of Industry Involvement
This isn’t Ben’s first time serving in an advisory capacity. Over the years, he has also served on similar councils for:
Delta Dental
Mutual of Omaha
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
That continuity matters. It allows Ben to bring long-term perspective, pattern recognition, and practical insights back to our clients—rather than treating each carrier or policy shift in isolation.
Why This Matters to Our Clients
Our clients don’t just want a broker who reacts to change—they want one who sees it coming.
These council roles help ensure that:
Client feedback reaches carriers and policymakers directly
Small employers and nonprofits aren’t left out of large-scale decisions
Tzedakah House stays ahead of regulatory, pricing, and plan-design trends
Simply put, it helps us advocate more effectively on your behalf.
Looking Ahead
We’re proud of Ben’s continued involvement in shaping the future of employee benefits—and even more proud that it strengthens the work we do every day for our clients.
As always, our goal remains the same: to translate industry-level insight into better, simpler, more human benefits experiences.
