Eva Hanks & Alicea Velez Recognized with TZH Awards

Eva Hanks was named the 2024 Tzedakah House Employee of the Year for the second consecutive year by President Benjamin Klein at the Agency's annual holiday party.

Eva, who joined TZH during the summer of 2023, serves as the Account Manager for several of the Agency's largest accounts. She has taken the initiative to make her accounts operate on a more efficient basis, especially when it comes to Employee Navigator, payroll integration, and carrier integration. She has also played a large role in the training of new staff members.

Previous Employee of the Year award winners still with the Agency as of January 2025 include Luke Devoe, Deanna Gaydos, Lindsay Tiroletto, Nancy Rogers, and Benjamin Klein.

Alicea Velez was named the 2024 Tzedakah House Rising Star, a new honor to recognize a colleague who has shown a tremendous amount of potential throughout the year.

Alicea joined TZH early in 2024 with no prior experience in the industry, however, immediately grasped the concepts, processes, and skills needed to succeed. Alicea was quickly promoted from Assistant Account Manager to Account Manager, and currently oversees the benefit programs for more than 25 employers across Connecticut.

Both Eva and Alicea plan to study toward becoming brokers in 2025.
