Tzedakah House is proud to announce the launch of its 4th Annual September Food Drive, supporting a network of nonprofit organizations that serve individuals and families across Connecticut.

Last year, the drive collected food and essentials from all over the state of Connecticut thanks to the generosity of local businesses and community members. This year, Tzedakah House is trying to have a larger impact as we approach a busy fall season.

“Every can, every box, every contribution matters,” said Benjamin Klein, President of Tzedakah House. “We see firsthand the critical work our nonprofit partners are doing to fight hunger and unhoused, and this drive is one small way we can support them. Together with our clients and partners, we hope to reach even more communities than we have in years past.”

The 2025 Food Drive will benefit a wide range of nonprofit partners, including:

  • Literacy Volunteers of Greater Hartford

  • Christian Community Action

  • CitySeed

  • Community Soup Kitchen of Torrington

  • Connecticut Institute For Refugees and Immigrants (CIRI)
